AIVC Technical Note (TN) 77: AIVC projects 2011-2025 | Objectives-deliverables-collaborations-outreach 

This document aims to provide a clear overview of the various AIVC projects and their associated deliverables. 

The AIVC & venticool are happy to announce the release of a new publication: 

AIVC Technical Note (TN) 76: Overheating assessment & ventilative cooling in national building codes regarding indoor environmental quality and energy performance 

We are pleased to share that the presentation slides from the AIVC 2026 workshop “Climate change, ventilation, and resilience” are now available online. The workshop brought together researchers, industry professionals, and international experts to exchange insights and discuss the latest developments addressing climate change challenges. Key topics included indoor environmental quality (IEQ), ventilation strategies, human health, and sustainable building solutions.

We are pleased to announce that the AIVC -TightVent - venticool 2026 Conference: “Innovations in Smart Ventilation and IEQ for Resilient and Adaptive Buildings” is now accepting abstracts & proposals for topical sessions. The Conference will be held on September 30 & October 1, 2026 and will take place at the Songdo International District in Incheon, Republic of Korea.

The 46^th AIVC conference "Innovations in Smart Ventilation and IEQ for Resilient and Adaptive Buildings" will take place on September 30 & October 1, 2026 at the Songdo International District in Incheon, Republic of Korea. This international event will be held jointly with the 14^th TightVent Conference and the 12^th venticool Conference.

We’re happy to announce that the recordings of the AIVC-venticool webinar, “Improving thermal resilience of buildings to overheating: Lessons learned”, held on May 5, 2025, are now available on our website!
